Stamperland Wine Circle welcomes new members who have an interest in understanding more about wine and the enjoyment associated with it.

Club members enjoy tastings, displays by leading distributors and the matching of different wines to certain kinds of food. There will be demonstrations on how to make wine and an opportunity to chat about to making your own very drinkable varieties. 24 Hours in Shawlands

Queen’s Park Camera Club presents a chronological Photographic Exhibition illustrating 24 hours of life along Shawlands main thoroughfare. The photographs tell the stories of the various activities going on and illustrate the lives of the people who live in, work in and visit Shawlands, such as shopkeepers, workers, people shopping, meeting, visiting cafes, pubs, clubs etc. Each individual photo tells a story in itself as well as being part of the bigger exhibition and is accompanied by a short statement describing the scene in order to give life and meaning to the viewer. At the Milk Cafe everyday except Mondays, throughout May.
