The 21-year-old from Tollcross now has a toss-up between spending her winnings on a holiday of a lifetime to Las Vegas or a brand new set of wheels.

Commenting on the call from Clyde 1, Victoria said: “I was fast asleep and woke up because my phone was ringing. By the time I reached for it I missed the call. I was kicking myself as I knew that the Cash Hits Extra winner was going to be announced and I thought I had missed my big chance. But then my phone rang again and I couldn’t believe my luck when George Bowie was on the other end!

“I picked up my little dog Mylo and ran to tell my flatmate. I was shaking with excitement!”

This big win is a first for the SSE Hydro Safety Steward and she’s kick-starting the celebrations by treating her Westie, Mylo, to a haircut.

Speaking about what she’ll do with the £10,000, Victoria said: “I’m going to choose what I spend my winnings on wisely. I’ll either organise the trip of a lifetime to Las Vegas with my boyfriend Jack this summer or I’ll buy my first car. I’m still learning to drive but having a brand new car sitting outside my house will be the best motivation to pass. I’ve got some thinking to do!”

The Tollcross 21-year-old admits to being a huge Clyde 1 fan, having listened to the station for years. George Bowie is her favourite DJ and she’s seen him perform at the SSE Hydro whilst carrying out her stewarding duties.
