Winners in the annual East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisure Active Schools Dance Championships came from Netherlee and Mearns Primaries, along with dancers from Woodfarm and Mearns Castle High Schools.
More than 300 pupils from primary and secondary schools took part in the event which attracted an audience of almost 400.
Dance styles on show including contemporary, lyrical, hip-hop, Bollywood and cheerleading.
The Netherlee Primary 7 cheerleaders were the Primary Team winners and street dancer Lewis McLay, from Mearns Primary, lifted the Primary Individual trophy.
Woodfarm High S5/S6 contemporary dancers won the Secondary Team title and Mearns Castle High S4/S5 street dancers Lauren Dignam and Rebecca Baillie were the Secondary Duet winners.
The Primary Duet winners were Cara Gibson and Leia Rannachan, from St Mark’s Primary, Barrhead, and Elle Wilson, from St Luke’s High, Barrhead, won the Secondary Individual title.
Dancers from the JAM School of Dance, in Giffnock and Le Dance group, from Barrhead opened and closed the show.
The judges dance coach Jacqueline McGrory, teacher Vicky William and Gillian Anderson from Le Dance group.
Chief executive of ERCL, Anthony McReavy said: “You could see from the performances the young people had been working very hard at their routines and they all seemed to enjoy taking part.
“Dance is a great way to keep active, fit and healthy, so its great to se so many young people doing just that.”
