We have previously written and spoke about the greatest albums that have been released by Glasgow bands and musicians, but today wanted to give a bit more love to the albums that are under-appreciated through no fault of their own.
Some are follow ups to decade defining releases whilst some are simply overshadowed by a strong back catalogue.
Here are 12 under-appreciated albums from Glasgow bands that should be in your record collection

9. Fellow Hoodlums - Deacon Blue
Fellow Hoodlums is the third studio album released by Deacon Blue in 1991. The album includes the songs "Your Swaying Arms", "Twist and Shout", "Closing Time" and "Cover from the Sky". When everyone thinks of the band, they think of Raintown and When the World Knows Your Name, but this is a great album. | Supplied

10. Peace at Last - The Blue Nile
Following on from A Walk Across the Rooftops and Hats, The Blue Nile released Peace at Last in June 1996. The album was given a five star review by Q by remains overshadowed by the previous two albums. | Supplied

11. The Life Pursuit - Belle and Sebastian
