The evening will be hosted by BBC Radio Scotland’s Take the Floor presenter Gary Innes, who will also invite Tom for a chat to find out a little more about him and his band. Viewers will also be encouraged to send in their own questions for one of the most loved Scottish Dance Band musicians of his time.

Tom Orr said: “This is such an exciting show to be a part of, nothing of this scale has ever been done before on the Scottish Dance Band scene and it’s so exciting for my band and I to be a part of it. The streaming equipment is of the highest quality so the show will look and sound incredible, we really can’t wait.

“Hopefully this will be the start of more and more opportunities to watch and listen to Scottish Dance Band music virtually during these difficult times, when Box & Fiddle clubs and Country Dancing classes are not able to operate as they usually would. We all absolutely love performing and so we can’t wait to bring our music to fans old and new virtually at the end of the month.”

Tom is a three-time Scottish Accordion Champion and his much-revered band are all masters of music in their own right. The line-up includes Marie Fielding on fiddle, Stuart Cameron on 2nd accordion, Craig Paton on piano, Brian Cruickshank on bass and Fraser MacInnes on drums. All showcasing individual talents that blend together to provide a wonderfully unique and unforgettable sound.
