A Black and White night with Diamond sparkle

The Tuesday Friendship Club '“ a club for adults with learning disabilities and additional support needs '“ are hosting a Black and White fundraiser featuring a Neil Diamond tribute act.

The fundraising event takes place on Friday, June 1, at 7.30pm, in the Columba Club, Darnley Road, Barrhead.

Funds raised will help the club to plan outstanding events for its members, and will also go towards buying them gifts for Christmas.

The action-packed evening features singer Pat Cairns, who will be performing as Neil Diamond, entertaining the audience with songs such

as Sweet Caroline, Cracklin’ Rosie, Song Sung Blue and Forever in Blue Jeans.

There will also be an auction, raffle, a hot buffet, photobooth, disco, DJ and a host compèring the night’s entertainment.

One of the highlights of the night will be an ‘envelope raffle’. For a £10 donation in an envelope, there will be the chance to win a pair of tickets to see Beyonce and Jay Z at Hampden Park on Saturday, June 9.
