A volatile cocktail at The Glad Cafe

Serious subject matters from theatremakers Confab this week as Cocktail: Fear, Pain, Power arrives at The Glad Cafe.

Based on interviews with real Scots who have experienced sectarianism, it’s a contemporary account of the ongoing Glasgow problem — but in this case complete with a live band, movement and song.

There are professional and community performers working side by side, including former MSP Rosie Kane in the mix.

It seems safe to expect challenging material for a complex, close-to-home subject matter.

The free show runs Thursday and Saturday (March 5 and 7), 8pm — for tickets, email [email protected].
