Artist cruises to a new commission
Glasgow Artist Adrian B McMurchie has been commissioned by the National Trust for Scotland to be on board the Ship Pearl 11 for the “Shadows of St Kilda” cruise, visiting St Kilda, Harris and the Isle of Skye.
Born in Stamperland and raised in Netherlee, Adrian will be documenting the trip through his illustrations of the crew, passengers and ship along the way. He said: “Not in years have I looked forward so much to an assignment of this kind. The chance to visit the Scottish Western Isles and documenting the day to day life on board makes me feel incredibly privileged.”
