Artists take over
More than six empty shop units in Cumbernauld Town Centre will be taken over by artists and an animator from Glasgow as part of a special project.
The initiative, which kicks off today (Friday), August 22 has been organised by Wardpark-based Cumbernauld Living Landscape and the Scottish Wildlife Trust which oversees areas like Cumbernauld Glen.
The group will be staging a fun day to coincide with this tomorrow (Saturday), August 23.
