Big boys can cry for playwright Davidson

The Shed’s theatre lights will be fired up again this weekend for a new play written by Elizabeth R Davidson.

The dramatist died shortly after the play premiered at the Edinbugh Festival.

TRAM Direct brings Big Boys Don’t Cry to Shawlands and actor Bobby Bulloch dedicates these performances to her memory.

A spokeswoman said: “Many plays have been written about women and the impact of birth on their lives but this piece focuses on the male viewpoint.

A spokeswoman for The Shed added the club’s condolences, saying: “It’s sad when the community loses such artistic talent but Elizabeth’s legacy will endure in her art.”

Saturday and Sunday, October 8 and 9. 1pm start. £10, with a bite and a drink.
