Celebrate the 70s — come on!
Next week, it’ll be time to dig out those sequinned tops and shiny trousers for a trip back in time to when disco was king.
Disco Inferno is the latest production from Theatre South Productions and it’s a take on the classic morality tale Faust — but with beats you can jiggle to.

Hide AdIt contains many hits from the era such as Boogie Nights, Starman, Crocodile Rock and Celebration.
Director Gerry McLaughlin said: “It’s a high energy show with over a dozen big production numbers that really showcases the cast’s singing and dancing skills.
“The fact that all of the songs are classics from the 70s was a challenge, but also a massive bonus.
“It’s been a pleasure taking on the music of such greats as Elton, Bowie and the Jacksons, and we’re ready to get on stage and burn, baby, burn!”

Hide AdLove interest Suzanne Wilson said there’s one group the family-friendly musical will particularly appeal to — women.
She said: “Without a doubt my favourite bit is belting out I Will Survive.
“It’s such a female anthem with lyrics every girl can relate to — I remember growing up, getting ready to go out and singing it into a hairbrush with my pals, and I suspect I’ll not be the only one who did that.”
Disco Inferno runs at Eastwood Park Theatre from Tuesday, March 25 to Saturday, March 29. Tickets: £12-£15.
