Clarkston couple's recognition for years of dedication
Local fundraising couple Anne and David Margetts, who are part of Clarkston and District Church Christian Aid group, have been presented with a national Diamond Award by Christian Aid for their ongoing dedication to the charity.
Anne (83) and David (85), from Clarkston, first became involved with Christian Aid over 50 years ago.
Anne said: “David and I are delighted to have been nominated for the Diamond Award and we hope to continue fundraising for Christian Aid for as long as possible.
“We would like to thank the many people, who are numerous to mention, who have helped us over the years.”
