Dobbies Sandyholm parade welcomes Santa 2014 Slideshow

SANTA arrived at Dobbies Garden Centre in the Clyde Valley to really kick-start the Christmas festivities.

Leading the parade were Stonehouse Pipe Band and Joanne’s Dance Troupe from Carluke, along with Dobbies Little Seedlings Club, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, characters from Disney’s Frozen and Doc McStuffin.

Riding with Santa were Mrs Claus, two elves and Matthew and Cameron Bryson.

Dobbies community champion Jennifer Aitchison said: “Throughout the day, we had free face painting, a candy ferris wheel, DJ and balloon entertainment by Rainbow Entertainment in Carluke and the Dalserf Church Choir.
