EMPOWERMENT explores the potential of the process of building to affect social change in the developing world at The Lighthouse.

GRAB the girls and head to The Shed for a fantastic charity ladies night raising money for Yorkhill and Cash For Kids.

FRIDAY DECEMBER 5

TURNER prize -nominee, artist Mike Nelson’s latest exhibition, Eighty Circles through Canada, is on display at Tramway.

SATURDAY DECEMBER 6

CHRISTMAS fayre at Mearns Primary noon-3pm. Rangers Community Football Coaching, inflatable assault course, Santa’s grotto, craft stalls and more. Entry £2 adults £1 children including refreshments.

MRS CLAUS: Come and visit Mrs Claus at Pollok House.

SUNDAY DECEMBER 7

TEA dance, Pollokshaws burgh hall in aid of the Prince and Princess of Wales hospice. Cakes, tea and coffee.

TESCO Silverburn Christmas market and Saturday 13th December and collecting for Diabetes UK on both days.

THURSDAY DECEMBER 11

The Institute for Future Cities will exhibit a taster preview of their City Observatory exhibition at The Lighthouse.
