BOP to the Beat with Hartbeeps, appearing at Silverburn at 10.30 and 11.30am. Free event for Babybells (newborns), Babybeeps (babies and toddlers up to walking stage) and Happy House (walking age up to age four).

FARMERS market returns to Clarskton. Stock up on local produce from 9am-1pm at Clarkston Hall.

COMMUNITY fun at the Battlefield Street Party, kicking off at noon. Bake-off, tombola, activities, stalls and more until 5pm — free event.

Monday June 30

MOVIE Monday at Eastwood Park, this week showing Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. 11am start, and tickets are £4.50 (£3.50 conc).

SUMMER holiday fun kicks off at The Avenue. Events running 12-4pm, Mon-Thurs until August 7. This week, interactive Scalextric for all ages - and free to join in.
