The Neilston Show is an agricultural and livestock show held annually on the first Saturday in May. Runs from 8am till 4pm.

Newton Mearns Parish Church host the May In bloom coffee morning and bedding plant sale from 10am till noon.

Giffnock United Reform Church is having a jumble sale. Open 10.30am.

Neilston Pad 4.5km run registration is at the Neilston Development Trust stall at the show from 9:00am . Entry fee is £6 for Scottish Athletic members and £8 otherwise.
