Far from middle of the road

The band have evolved, moved with the times and found mainstream success while maintaining their loyal fanbase.

A long 12 years after they burst into the mainstream with Bleed American, Jimmy Eat World are now celebrating the release of their seventh studio album, Damage.

Now, they are going out on an extensive UK tour with Glasgow one of their first destinations.

Damage is the follow up to 2010’s critically-acclaimed Invented, and the first release on their label partner RCA Records.    

The band spent a busy week in London in the summer, including a live double header with Queens Of The Stone Age, as part of Radio 1 Rock Week, which culminated in an 
exhilarating performance at Download 
Festival plus a sold out show at Koko l. 
where they performed to a rapturous audience.

They continue their live onslaught with an extensive UK tour in support of Damage, which kicks off on tonight in Birmingham.

Vocalist Jim Adkins said: “We are excited to start playing shows in the UK again.

“Some of the best crowds anywhere! We have put a lot of work into making our new album and can’t wait to play the new songs for you guys!”
