Get stitched up at Greenbank Garden

The ladies of the Renfrewshire Branch of the Embroiderers’ Guild celebrated National Stitch Day recently by sewing in the sunshine at Greenbank Garden.

Vice chair Alison Templeton said: “We hold our bi-annual exhibition at Greenbank and it is a favourite place for inspiration.”

The new session of weekly meetings begins on Monday, September 7, at 7.30 at Fairweather Hall, Newton Mearns.

No experience is needed to join the ladies in their embroidery and textile art projects with guest speakers and tutors throughout the year covering a whole range of subjects.
