Immortal Chi arrives at the Concert Hall on Saturday, June 14, at 7.30pm, straight from China, having been conceived and directed by acclaimed Cirque director Erick Villeneuve.

In the best traditions of Cirque, Immortal Chi weaves an amazing and exciting story with Chinese martial arts, multi-media images, intricately designed costumes and an original musical score which will have you breathless with wonder.

This tale of a Tai Chi Master and the challenge he faces to regain his secret inner energy – his Immortal Chi – is nothing short of an authentic immersive experience.

The world class team offset a variety of traditional Chinese Wushu techniques with acrobatics, weaponry, and authentic Chinese musical instruments to give the story a vibrant, contemporary feel.

Before that North Lanarkshire Children’s Theatre presents the mysterious play The Woolgatherers at the Concert Hall on Sunday, June 8, at 4pm in association with the Tron Theatre.

In a time of new technology and online gaming, some young people have forgotten how to create their own entertainment and use their own imagination.

That’s where the Woolgatherers come in. Their job is to open up the door of your imagination, but what happens when the door between reality and fantasy won’t close?
