Locals flocked to Law Bowling Club for a meal and stalls selling Christmas goods, before the lights were switched on at the Cross by Santa and 2014 Carluke Gala Queen Claire-Jayne Rae.
“It was a brilliant event which Law Community Trust did a terrific job in organising,” said Clydesdale West Labour Councillor Lynsey Hamilton.

“It was great to see the Law community come out and support it in such great numbers, making it the best one ever.

Santa made a spectacular arrival in a disco bus organised by local youth group Universal Connections.

Excited youngsters couldn’t wait to get into the bus to have photographs taken with the man in red.

Mince pies were sold at the stalls and raffles were run by Law Primary and local businesses.
