National Trust Eastwood and District Members Centre announces new monthly talks

It draws its membership mainly from the southern suburbs of Glasgow and parts of East Renfrewshire.

The program for 2019/2020 is as follows

October 10: Witch Trial Talk. An illustrated talk by Jill Kirkwood

November 14: The Art Treasures of the Louvre. An illustrated talk by Dr Maureen Park

December 12: Templeton’s Carpet. An illustrated talk by Graham Clark

January 9: The Burrell Renaissance. An illustrated talk by John Rattenbury

February 13: Scotland’s Lost Villages. An illustrated talk by Dane Love

March 12: Donors to Glasgow Museums. An illustrated talk by Dr Frances Dryburgh

April 9 Survey work- Glencoe and Ben Lawers. An illustrated talk by Dan Watson.

Each talk begins at at 7.30pm at Clarkston Hall. There is a small fee of £2 for non members.
