Nice day for a white Fringe wedding?

CULTURE vultures heading east for the Edinburgh Fringe this month may do well to catch a show with a distinct Glasgow twang.

Giffnock’s own Kenny Boyle (one half of Glasgow troupe Sonic Boom) has taken up residence in the capital for August for Forever — a play about a wedding which is sure to pack a punch.

It’s the day of Stephen’s nuptials when ex-girlfriend Vicky bursts onto the scene, bringing up old heartaches and leaving ever-impatient guests waiting. The site-specific piece is set in C-Too, a church space, and audiences will be greeted like guests at a wedding — silly hats optional, but welcome.

Forever runs until August 26, 3.30pm at C-Too (Fringe venue 4). Tickets £7.50-£9.50.
