On one occasion in July last year we saw two of the park’s famous Clydesdale horses which are now a rare breed — many of the readers will have seen them pull the carriage around the grounds and also at the shows held in the park. I liked the way the two horses were snuggling together, obviously great friends, with the sun glinting on them and the trees giving a reasonable dark background. I took a number of photos and thought this was the best. The camera I used was a Sony a450 with a Tamron 18-200mm lens, 200mm focal length.
