Pic of the Week: Close Friends by Edward Beveridge

I OFTEN go walking with my wife and grandson to the local parks and one we particularly like is Pollok Country Park.

On one occasion in July last year we saw two of the park’s famous Clydesdale horses which are now a rare breed — many of the readers will have seen them pull the carriage around the grounds and also at the shows held in the park.
I liked the way the two horses were snuggling together, obviously great friends, with the sun glinting on them and the trees giving a reasonable dark background.
I took a number of photos and thought this was the best. The camera I used was a Sony a450 with a Tamron 18-200mm lens, 200mm focal length.
