Pic of the Week: Gondola Stop by Mary Robertson

This is a classic view of Venice which has been painted and photographed countless times.
The view is from the main waterfront quite near St Mark’s looking across to San Giorgio Maggiore.
The image was taken on quite a sunny spring morning but to give it a different look and feel, I converted the image to monochrome and a grainy vignette filter was applied.
The image was taken with a Panasonic G3 at f8 and 1/500 with a 50mm lens.
