Pic of the Week: Predator by Andy Shearer
Taken on our club outing to Blair Drummond Safari Park I wanted to show the fierce face of the Eagle and its powerful beak which it uses to tear apart its prey.
I used my 55 to 300mm Pentax zoom lens on my Pentax K10D digital single lens reflex camera.
I find that the large reflex finder on my camera is best for assessing focus and framing my shots.
It was taken hand held at 150mm focal length, ISO 400, f9.5 at 1/2000th of a second.
