Pic of the Week: The Footie by Gill Williamson

It is one of my favourite holiday locations and for taking photographs.

While I was there I decided to visit the small island Scalpay which is connected to Harris by bridge. While I was driving around I came across this old run down cottage and went to investigate its photo potential.

I was impressed with the contents and state of the cottage and could visualise someone sitting in the chair watching the television.

I made a note of its location and returned a few days later with a volunteer from the campsite I was staying at. I took a series of images which were not easy as the floorboards were not exactly stable and movement was limited!

I later added an image from a Scotland v England match on to the TV set that was in the cottage and an image of Ally from the internet to complete the scene.
