Pic of the Week: The Mother ship by Kenny Gordon
This image is of the escalators at Canary Wharf station in London.
I called it The Mother Ship because I think it looks like an alien spaceship when it is converted to black and white.
It was a challenge to try to get the photograph without any people on the escalators as it is quite a busy station but thankfully I managed to wait until it was quite enough with only two figures at the top — getting transported to the mother ship!
Taken on a Nikon D700 24mm lens, f4 and speed of 1/200sec.
