From the writer of the critically acclaimed “The Lynching-The Last Rounds of Benny Lynch”, this new comedy/drama is based on real personal testimonies and “herstories”, following an extensive social media campaign, of staff and patients of the former iconic Samaritans Hospital, in Glasgow’s Govanhill area.

For over a hundred years, it was the go to place for Southside women...and their “wummin troubles”, responsible for saving thousands of “wives and lives”.

The Production also launches the unique Whasher Woman Archive: WHASH (Womens Heritage Archive of the Samaritans Hospital) where these “herstories” are to be curated and archived, available to the public at the project’s end.

Catch A Dose of Blushes at The Shed on Friday, May 18 at 7.30pm; Saturday 19 and Sunday at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
