Choir director Anne Taylor will travel to China to take the stage at the Beijing Concert Hall on Sunday, October 16, for a performance of ‘A Sea Symphony’ by Vaughan Williams, joining ranks with the Beijing International Festival Chorus and the Peking Sinfonietta.

The Chorus will then head south to Nanjing where it will give a performance of the Brahms ‘German Requiem’ in the Nanjing University of Arts Concert Hall on Thursday, October 20, followed by a repeat performance in the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra Hall on Friday, October 21, before the Chorus returns to Scotland.

Anne said: “I’m hugely excited at the prospect of representing Glasgow and Scotland in China, performing in three amazing venues, as well as enjoying the camaraderie of being part of such a large group on tour.”
