Southside gears up for a top weekend of film fest fun

It’s almost time to dim the lights for another Southside Film Festival.

The fest runs October 8-11, with an opening reception held at The Glad Cafe ,including a talk on the venue’s Lost Cinemas of Glasgow exhibition.

Stan Laurel’s southside connection is celebrated with Putting Pants On Philip at Pollokshaws Burgh Hall, while Pollok House serves up French food for Madeleine — the story of one of Glasgow’s most famous murders.
