The nightmare is beginning again

A woman tries to exonerate her brother of murder, by proving it was committed by a supernatural phenomenon in Oculus, out now at the Showcase in Bargeddie.

Ten years ago, tragedy struck the Russell family, leaving the lives of teenage siblings Tim and Kaylie forever changed when Tim was convicted of the brutal murder of their parents.

Now in his 20s, Tim (Brenton Thwaites) is released from protective custody and only wants to move on with his life, but Kaylie (Karen Gillan) is convinced her parents’ deaths were caused by supernatural force unleashed through an antique mirror.

Kaylie tracks down the mirror, only to learn similar deaths have befallen previous owners over the past century.

With the mysterious entity back in their hands, Tim and Kaylie find reality shattered by terrifying hallucinations, and realise that their childhood nightmare is beginning again.

Oculus is rated 15 and runs 104 minutes.
