Charity coffee morning, courtesy of Eaglesham Guild. All welcome 10am until noon at Carswell Hall, with stalls, homebaking and gifts. Adults £2, children 50p.

BIG book sale by East Ren libraries. This event is at Carmichael Hall 10am-4pm, with books, CDs and DVDs up for grabs starting at 10p.

FAMILY storytime at Eastwood Park with How the Leopard Got Its Spots. Scottish Youth Theatre presents extracts from Rudyard Kipling’s Just So Stories from 11am. Tickets £5/£15 family.

WILDLIFE buffs welcome to a talk on otters by photographer Laurie Campbell. The Scottish Wildlife Trust event kicks off at 7.30pm at Duff Memorial Hall in Busby and entry is £3/£2 (children free).

Tuesday February 17

MOVIE night at The Glad Cafe as the Southside Film Festival and Scottish Queer International Film Festival present Hit So Hard, on Hole drummer Patty Schemel. Doors 7.30pm for 8pm - tickets £6/£5 conc.
