EXHIBITION on Lost Cinemas of Glasgow: Architecture and Society opens at The Glad Cafe - part of the Southside Film Festival. Free event running until October 26, focusing on the fates of Glasgow’s 160 former cinema buildings, and southside locations in particular.

FREE evening talk at Rouken Glen Park. Graeme Walker of Clyde and Argyll Fungus Group put the fun in Fungi in the Park. 7-9pm - no booking required, and drop in 15 mins before for tea and coffee.

THURSDAY OCTOBER 1

TURNER Prize exhibition opens at Tramway ahead of December’s winner announcement. The shortlisted artists are Assemble, Bonny Camplin, Janice Kerbel and Nicola Wermers. Their work is available to view, for free, until January, and workshops will be on offer throughout.

FRIDAY OCTOBER 2
