Window to the Past: Barrhead Road
These young shavers are standing on Barrhead Road.
The picture is looking west towards the tenements of Ashview Terrace and the Co-operative building.
To the right of the picture is a field where, in 1932, the Western SMT bus depot would be built.
Ashview Terrace was so-named because it was built on a road lined by ash trees.
