Jane is World Editor of The Scotsman and Scotland on Sunday. She has worked in journalism in Scotland for almost twenty years, with stints at the Edinburgh Evening News and The Sunday Times, as well as holding various roles at The Scotsman.

Having covered Scottish politics, consumer affairs, business and environment specialisms in the past, she started the World Editor role two days before Russia's war in Ukraine began in 2022.

In her spare time, when she's not on the ice herself, she also covers figure skating for the sports section- a bit of light relief from the day job.
