Signs appeared on the windows of the restaurant in New Kirk Road on Tuesday, November 8 to say that it was closed for a refurbishment.

However it has not re-opened and it’s now believed to be up for sale with an asking price of £60,000.

When we last contacted the owner, Andy Hull, he claimed that all Christmas deposits were refunded when the decision was made to cease trading.

However Chris Cassidy says he has not been refunded for a deposit for a party of 11 people for Christmas.

Chris said: “Andy has my details. He owes us £110 and it would be great if he could contact me and pay this back.

“I have tried to contact Andy but haven’t been able to get hold of him.”

Andy explained in our previous story that the business has closed ‘due to difficult trading conditions’ and as a director he had a responsibility not to continue to trade in this position.

We have contacted him again but have not received a reply yet.
