Fiona’s lockdown lessons are firm favourite!

A local estate agent has set
up an innovative online
marketing club to support
fellow business owners in East Dunbartonshire.

Fiona Wright set up #lockdownlessons on her firm’s
Facebook page a few weeks ago.

The marketing club has been a big success, featuring 40 live interviews with local business owners and community organisations so far.

Fiona said: “I run a small estate agency and run a free to attend marketing club for local business owners.

“During lockdown, I launched a feature called #lockdownlessons on my
Facebook page. Local business owners discussed changes they had made to continue to support and provide services to the community and provided hints or tips about their particular specialism with the tagline ‘local experts to help you survive and thrive during lockdown’.”

Some of the names who have contributed are: Billington’s of Lenzie; The Perfect Puppy Company of Milton of Campsie; 1 Eighty Dental of Bishopbriggs; MindtheMen (men’s mental health support), Harper’s Health & Well Being of Kirkintilloch; Jawbrew of Milngavie; Katee Kross; Driftwood Clothing Milngavie; Caurie Soaperie of Kirkintilloch, and All Green
Gardening and Landscaping Milton of Campsie.

Fiona said: “The videos have amassed over 30,000 minutes watched, and a regular and loyal following. They are being converted to podcasts and will be broadcast by East Dunbartonshire Radio to 4,500 homes with a blind or partially sighted resident.”
