Loop & Scoop’s long-awaited opening at East Dunbartonshire - with 20 jobs being created

The hugely popular churros and ice cream bar Loop & Scoop is due to open in East Dunbartonshire within the next few weeks.

Loop and Scoop is set to open on Milngavie Road, at Hillfoot, Bearsden in December.

A spokesperson for the company told the Herald that up to 20 jobs were being created.

Loop & Scoop opened in a huge corner unit near Byres Road in the Glasgow’s west end two years ago, offering up handmade ice cream and churros with every kind of topping, from Nutella to salted caramel, white chocolate to peanut butter.

Sweet-toothed foodies have been keeping an eye on the Bearsden opening for months now - it won’t be too long!

The Glasgow establishment posted on Facebook on Saturday: “Open for sit-ins until 6pm every day! (Mon-Thu 12-6pm, Fri-Sun 11am-6pm)⁣

“And when you can’t sit in, you can still grab a takeaway or order a delivery until 10pm every day.”
