New dessert shop opens in Glasgow’s east end

Glaswegians with a sweet tooth are in for a treat after a new dessert shop opened in the east end.

The Little Dessert Shop opened its doors on Duke Street to customers last week, offering up crepes, milkshakes, sundaes, and many other indulgent treats.

Excitement: Speaking to GlasgowWorld prior to opening, manager and owner Surendar said: “People are very excited. They are knocking at the door and keep asking when we are opening.”

Expansion: The Little Dessert Shop brand launched in 2015 and now has branches across the UK. The Duke Street shop is just part of its latest expansion. Surendar hinted that more stores could be opened in Glasgow in the future, but added: “We are going to see how this goes and take it from there.”
