Participating businesses will receive stickers and posters to make them easy to spot, and diners who eat in will benefit from a 50 per cent discount up to £10 per person on food and non-alcoholic drinks from Monday to Wednesday throughout August. No vouchers are required and customers can take advantage of the offer as many times as they wish.

Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak said: “Our restaurants, cafes and bars play a vital role in our economy, employing more than a million people. They have been hit hard by coronavirus, so it’s vital we do everything we can to help them recover.

The new online restaurant finder is available HERE . Enter your postcode or one near where you want to dine to get a list of participating outlets in a five-mile radius.

Participating outlets must wait for one week after registering to make their first claim, and all eligible claims are paid within five working days. Businesses should register before August 3.
