Work on The Loaning is due to finish Phase One on schedule

A temporary road closure will be in place from Logans Road and Dechmont Avenue until then to complete road and pathway surfacing works.

In addition, the section of Logans Road immediately around the junction has also been closed until Friday.

A council spokesperson said: “During the remaining closure, all residents and businesses will have limited access to their properties.

“Alternative local routes will be available and diversions in place for larger vehicles. Every effort will be made to minimise disruption to local residents and businesses while these important works are undertaken.”

Construction of the stage two works at the Ailsa Family Learning Centre, will take place in early 2021.

Phase three will involve the Ladywell Road junction and phase four will involve the junction at Hamilton Road.
