Abronhill High: “success will continue”

The 2012-2013 session’s exam results showed across the board increases over the prevuious year and Mark Cairns (47), who has held the headship for 18 months, believes this trend will continue even as the school closes to merge with Cumbernauld High School next year.

“The number of pupils attaining five or more credit passes has gone up from 27 per cent to 36 per cent and in S4 58 per cent of all passes were credit passes. Of 379 presentations all of them passed which is testament to the good attitude and commitment of the pupils and staff,” he said.
