Bishopbriggs school’s plea after hundreds of lockdown borrowed books not returned

A Bishopbriggs school has put out a plea after hundreds of books borrowed before lockdown have still not been returned.

Bishopbriggs Academy tweeted this morning (Thursday, September 17): “281 pupils have still to return 358 overdue library books borrowed before lockdown.

“This totals £3174.41 worth of books! Please search at home for the books and return to the School Library. We cannot afford to replace all these books and also purchase new titles.”
