The children, together with staff at the nursery, set up their own mud kitchen in the school grounds.
And the youngsters jumped at the chance to get their wellies on and play in the mud.

Karen said: “It’s all about getting the kids out and exploring.
“We have a natural play area at the school and we recently bought puddle suits for the children so they can get as muddy as they want.
“The kids love to explore outside in the same way that we did when we were their age.
