Katie Connacher was a BBC interviewer, speaking to spectators in Jerusalem and getting them to tell the audience what they had witnessed.
The broadcasts took place at well-known Biblical scenes – in the temple where Jesus, played by Andrei Moldovan, overturned the tables of the moneychangers, and the Garden of Gethsemane where he was arrested.

Hide AdOther interviews covered the Crucifixion and the Resurrection. Easter scenes were re-enacted, with young people taking the lead roles and then those who had been in the crowds in the early Holy Land were interviewed and encouraged to talk about what they had seen.
Children from Primary 4 to Primary 7 were involved in telling the “Biggest News Story Ever Told”.
The youngsters all played their parts well, as convincing eyewitnesses or as performers singing their hearts out in the musical parts.
“I was very, very proud of them,” said head teacher Marion Girdwood. “It really was a lovely performance, telling the Easter story through song and drama.”
