Local foodbank benefits from Douglas Academy Santa dash
S1 pupils at Douglas Academy in Milngavie completed a special Santa dash race for charity recently.
The enthusiastic runners, along with the rest of the school raised donations for East Dunbartonshire foodbank based at St Joseph’s Church.
The two pupils in the photo were placed first in the boys and girls races respectively.
The pupils are Ellis Stevenson (left) and Jennie MacMahon (right). Centre is Ryan Higgins, PE teacher at Douglas Academy, who organised the Santa dash charity event.
