Motherwell Library -an update

There is good news for bookworms in Motherwell after it emerged that the town’s library re-opened yesterday (September 16) for the first time since March.

The historic Hamilton Road facility will open on weekdays from 10am to 4pm in line with Scottish Government restrictions with regard to social distancing.

It is one of just four Culture NL Libraries to re-open its doors - but North Lanarkshire Heritage Centre is also operational again.

Culture NL says it will provide opening dates for other libraries “in due course.”
