Video: Cumbernauld schools host Question Time Event

Two Cumbernauld schools have joined forces to host a Question Time type event tomorrow, Thursday.

S4 pupils at St Maurice’s and Greenfaulds have co-ordinated the event, which will also raised money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Doors open at 7 p.m. for a 7.30 p.m start at Greenfaulds High, where the panel will answer questions including “Are the new National exams failing pupils?”, “Is the censorship of the Internet needed to protect out children” and “Should Britain follow in the footsteps of France and limit religious freedoms”.

This year’s Question Time Panel includes leader of the Green Party Patrick Harvie, MSP Clare Adamson and Councillor Alan Graham.

The event will be hosted by Radio 5 Live’s Ian Turner.

The event is open to the public, and all are welcome. Tickets cost £1 for young people and £1.50 for adults. Refreshments will be served, and it is expected to finished around 9 p.m.
