Writer who wrote about Ravenscraig wants groups to be his guests
Writer Damian Barr who penned the bestseller ‘Maggie and Me’ is on the hunt for book groups to star in the second series of his show on BBC Scotland.
Talented Mr Barr whose dad worked in Ravenscraig hit the big time after a hard-hitting account of his childhood was embraced by readers and critics alike.
He now presents ‘The Big Scottish Book Club’ and wants to hear from any groups in the Motherwell and Bellshill area who would like to join him for one of the lively on-screen discussions that characterise the show
