Appeal to help trace missing Bishopbriggs man

The police are appealing for help to trace an 84-year-old man missing from the Bishopbriggs area.

William Thom was last seen at around 2pm yesterday (Wednesday) on the number 57 bus in Bath Street, Glasgow.

He is described as 5’11”, of slim build, with grey hair at the sides and bald on top. When last seen he was wearing navy trousers, an olive green coloured fleece and a grey baseball cap.

Sergeant Iain McGillivray, of Kirkintilloch Police Station, said: “William suffers from dementia and our concern for him is growing.

“I would ask anyone who may have seen him, or anyone with information that could help us to trace him, to please contact local officers via 101, quoting reference number 2700 of Wednesday, August 5, 2020.”
